Give yourself a bit of time for the gift shop to wind down the day.

Parking and access to this sunny, sandy beach is a breeze. Take your hat, sunscreen, buckets & shovels, and dip your feet in the sand and sea waves. Look closer & discover tiny worlds hidden under each rock. Spend an hour or so here to stroll the beach and build a sand structure. Sea air gives you energy for the day ahead, and relaxes you for a good night’s rest.
Find access to parking right off Wharf street and drive down to the floatplane dock. Park on the south side facing the many boats of the inner harbour. Pay parking is the norm for downtown - use the kiosk for your parking pass. Take a walking tour along the boardwalk and see local artisans, musicians and vendors. See the shops along Government street, and stop for lunch at one of the many restaurants. Nearby Milestones offers harbour views and a delicious, and very kid-friendly menu. This area is also a jumping off point for whale watching tours - best to make a reservation for this unique & memorable experience!

See the sights of Brentwood Bay and Todd inlet by kayak! Guided tours available, or if you’re feeling a little more adventurous, rent a kayak - double or single and dip your paddle in the easygoing waters along the shores of Todd inlet. This is a family-friendly, 2 hour round trip. You set the pace, and be sure to bring your hat, sunglasses, a water bottle and snack to keep you going. Jellyfish are sure to delight!
