My favourite coffee shop so far! Cozy and inviting... also has a spot upstairs that is great for families with kids. And they just added a beautiful outdoor garden to sit in and enjoy your coffee. They are amazing baristas... I haven’t had anything there I didn’t like yet.

This is a great little town full of coffee shops, a bakery, and local artisans. Even has a nice playground that is central for littles. Easily spend a day exploring Liverpool. Close by is Pine Grove park and Beach meadows.

This is a must see for anyone coming to visit Nova Scotia (only a 25 min drive!). Plan to spend an entire day here. Beautiful scenery, shops, brewery’s, museums and more!

Bridgewater is 5 min from the apartment. This is the hub for shopping on the south shore. Quite a few restaurants... Waves, Fancy pants cafe, On the Hook, & Local Public House to name a few. The south shore mall is located downtown as well as many, many other amenities.

Beautiful spot to go for a long walk on the beach. Also a favourite for local surfers.
This is a small beach. Perfect for small children. There is a small river that empty’s into the ocean that is fun to play in. Lots of nice white sand with a shallow grading into the water. Plus there is a portable toilet on site. Isn’t very well known and never crowded.

This beach is our family favourite!!! Lots of parking, big white sand bar, a fun rocky area to go snorkeling, change rooms and a portable toilet. This is the perfect beach day trip destination.

This is our families favourite park. You can take the small loop and make it an easy 35min walk, or take the longer route for 45min. The first few weeks in June the whole area bursts with colour as the rhododendrons start flowering. In parts of the forest you feel like you have entered into a fairy tale. The views are breathtaking along the Mersey River.

44 Nova Scotia Trunk 8This is our families favourite park. You can take the small loop and make it an easy 35min walk, or take the longer route for 45min. The first few weeks in June the whole area bursts with colour as the rhododendrons start flowering. In parts of the forest you feel like you have entered into a fairy tale. The views are breathtaking along the Mersey River.
This provincial park is about an hours drive from the airbnb. It’s worth taking a packed lunch and make a day out of it. Beautiful hiking trails to discover!

It’s about a 30min walk down to the ocean from the parking lot. But if you are up for it, this place is worth it! The views are spectacular!!
