Biking, walking, and running trails surround this gorgeous lake, and you can even rent kayaks and go for a paddle! For a fee, the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens is a must-see near the lake as well!

This park offers tons of green space and pretty water features. Great for tossing a Frisbee or going for a long walk. The trails extend on a big loop around Brookehaven College for 2+ miles.

Sightseeing
This is a world-class museum nearby Klyde Warren Park that is completely FREE! I highly recommend checking this out while you're in town. There are sometimes extra exhibits that require a ticket purchase, but the main collection is always free.

Fort Worth is a bit of a if you're staying in Dallas, but the stock yards are totally worth it if you're looking for a tourist attraction that is truly "Texan"!

If you're looking for true night life, you can't go wrong with Deep Ellum. During the day, the numerous wall murals and restaurants offer a great vibe, but at night is when this neighborhood really comes alive. If you're a live music junky, this is where you'll most likely find it.
