A community owned lighthouse staffed with knowledgeable lighthouse stewards. It is the only independently operated lighthouse in Britain and is also the oldest working lighthouse in East Anglia!
The lighthouse is painted white with three red bands, and has a light charcteristic of Fl (3) W 30s (3 white flashes, repeated every 30secs) with a range of 18 miles.
The lighthouse is open to the public on occasional Sundays and Bank Holidays throughout the summer.
Private viewings however can be arranged with notice.

An absolutely stunning beach, perfect for dog walks or as a day out with the family. Spectacular beach views are available, with the beach appearing to be endless. Wonderfully peaceful, as certainly one of the favourite beaches in the county!
There's a fish and chips shop, cafe, arcade, trampolines and a small bar/restaurant.
Plenty of paid parking is available.

Beautiful gardens filled with many rare and unusual plants. This was once a blank canvas, a completely empty space until it was turned into the stunning landscape it is today. The garden lies 1½ miles from the North Sea in an exposed prairie landscape containing large arable fields. Many of the wildlife habitats for birds and mammals had long been swept away. The owners have endeavoured throughout the garden to replace some of these by the planting of mixed hedgerows, banks, wildflower areas and ponds.
The garden and tea room is open on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays & Bank Holidays 12.00 to 5.30pm.
Dogs are not allowed in the gardens.
