Entertainment & Activities

If you have children and its a rainy day East riding leisure is definitely a good bet! It was reopened in 2016 after a 25 m refurbishment, and offers a 'clip and climb', and a 25 metre pool, learner pool, and fun splash zone! And it is positioned right on Bridlington sea front, so you can enjoy truly impressive views out to sea! A family swim ticket is just £11 for 2 adults and 3 children.

Food Scene

Rose and Crown pub in Flamborough is perfect if you don't want to go far for food. It is fairly small and cosy inside, but the food is excellent (5* rating on trip advisor). It is a 25-30 minute walk or a short 5 minute drive. It is a lovely walk to do on a light summers evening.

The Ship Inn is one of my favourite local pubs. I love the food here, but the location really makes this pub stand out. From the outdoor area you get truly spectacular views of the sea, and it is only a very short walk from sewerby cliffs, where you can see amazing views looking towards Bridlington bay. Definitely recommended! (sometimes has live music, good for couples and families, romantic for late night walks after).

Off the beaten path, Danes Dyke is a woodland area with peaceful nature walks with excellent views across to Bridlington bay. Danes Dyke has onsite parking and has its own beach, which is often fairly quiet but a real hidden gem :)

Sightseeing

Bempton cliffs nature reserve is definitely a MUST SEE whilst on your break with us. It can be accessed from our campsite using our private paths to the cliffs. It is a short 7 minute walk to get to the cliffs, and then a further 25 minute coastal walk to reach the RSPB centre, where there is a cafe and many viewing points to see the birds. Even if your not a big bird watcher it is still amazing to see. The views on Bempton cliffs are second to none!! *There are many great viewing points and many birds to see on our part of the cliffs if you don't fancy the walk to the RSPB*.
