If you are a ceviche lover go no further: this is THE PLACE! Even if you are not a fish lover, Yuyu has great happy hour with peruvian cocktails at $5-6 and very very good Peruvian dishes/appetizers!

Patriziz's food truck is a great exception offering excellent Italian dishes for a decent price and in an iconic Austin spot: The Vortex theatre and the Buttlerfly Bar. Don't miss them!

Patriziz's food truck is a great exception offering excellent Italian dishes for a decent price and in an iconic Austin spot: The Vortex theatre and the Buttlerfly Bar. Don't miss them!
Only 3 miles from the house, and a gem in East Austin, Hank's offers great priced happy hour bites and cocktails in a casual chic ambience.
It also has great brunch, late dining menu and a coffee shop. One of my favorite to go places in town to mingle with friends, they have so many opened seating areas, making waiting lines inexistent!

Best barbeque joint in Austin. You still have to wait in line, but the brisket, back ribs and sides are so worth it!!

Best drip coffee in town! Minimalist, bright, clean decor, Houndstooth is great for working from your laptop.
My favorite ( and closest) is the one on East MLK.
