Verkehrsmittel
During the winter season, when the Summit at Snoqualmie is operating, there is a free shuttle.
The shuttle passes the house about every 15-25 minutes. There are a few that are on constant loops Summit East-Silver Fir-Tubing Center-Central-West-Alpental and back. Catch it at the entrance into East parking lot or at the stop sign, two houses away. And of course Summit East is just a 5 minute walk from the house.

Bring layers! Any time of the year, layers are best.
During winter, clothes to keep you dry and warm - avoid cotton. During spring/summer/fall the weather can change quickly, so be ready to add a layer or peel one off.

Bring groceries you want to have on hand.
There is a little mart (Lee's) between exit 52 and 53 where you can buy a few simple items. Other grocery shopping is 30 minutes away (east to Cle Elum there is a Safeway, or west to North Bend there is a Safeway and QFC).
If you like having favorite snacks on hand or plan to cook, the kitchen is pretty stocked with cooking pots/ pans, spices, etc, but you'll need to plan ahead and bring your groceries or take a scenic drive to get some.
