* Bluff Trails is an easy hike along the ocean bluffs. There is also access to tide pools. It is a wonderful 4 miles round trip hike (or cut it short).
* Valencia Peak is a good hardy climb (yep, 1400 ft peak). Relatively short in distance, but the climb makes up for it.
* Hazards Canyon and Hazards Reef toward the ocean is big time surf spot. It also has sand dunes and a few tides pools. Really short (I think less than a 1/2 mile).

Easy and short hike with great view of estuary and Morro Bay. You can park at golf course and walk the golf course road to add distance and elevation. Or drive through the golf course to the small parking lot.

Relatively flat and decent distance for some exercise. I like to bring a picnic when you arrive at the ocean.

This is an all day hardy hike. Bring your back pack with proper supplies. The views at the top are worth the hike.

This is a good place to start if you want to kayak the estuary. Watch the tide charts, it is not fun paddling against the incoming tide.

This is a good place to start if you just want to paddle around the bay. Also you can cross the bay to sand spit. Nice place for lunch.

Crazy good tiny bakery, straight down Santa Maria St - 9 blocks away. Walk straight then turn right and there you are. Good morning walk with a reward. Current hours are 8am - 3pm on weekends
A popular Local Spot for Breakfast. It is always crowded but always a seat can be found. If there are no seats, go sit on the pier across the parking lot.
