Places to enjoy with atmosphere...

Stroll through the old streets of Edinburgh, The Grassmarket and Victoria Street and of course the Royal Mile (and wander down the old small lanes). Or off the beaten track but very atmospheric and very Edinburgh, take a walk along The Water of Leith, starting at Dean Village (so characterful) walking towards Stockbridge and then all the way to Leith Docks. Look out for the Anthony Gormley statues en route! Finish with a well deserved pint or glass in one of the many pubs and restaurants. Check out Circus Place in Stockbridge too- one of the most photographed streets.
