‘Old Bottlebutt’, a grand and ancient Red Bloodwood (Corymbia gummifera) tree located in Burrawan State Forest.
Old Bottlebutt is the main feature on a beautiful 600 metre loop walking track, beginning and ending at the Burrawan picnic area. It is a special place, a place to stay and enjoy the sounds of nature.

Old Bottlebutt is the main feature on a beautiful 600 metre loop walking track, beginning and ending at the Burrawan picnic area. It is a special place, a place to stay and enjoy the sounds of nature.
You can walk here from the Lake House if you are so inclined and feel like a hike.
Otherwise it is a very short drive and well worth a visit.

The 'Lauro' has a really good bistro with great food and many options for the tin lids. There is a courtesy bus that can pick you up and take you home again, jut give them a call, 65599004. And just approximately 1km from The Lake House!
Also some really good bands on selected weekends.

Bold StreetThe 'Lauro' has a really good bistro with great food and many options for the tin lids. There is a courtesy bus that can pick you up and take you home again, jut give them a call, 65599004. And just approximately 1km from The Lake House!
Also some really good bands on selected weekends.

For coffee & treats, large range of bait & tackle, fish feeding, as well as kayak, tinny & BBQ boat hire.
A must do!
And there is a really good fish and chip shop across the road.

Bago Vineyard is well worth a visit. You can have wine and cheese tasting and there is a magnificent maze the kids can get lost in for hours!
