Founders Heritage Park is a museum and live music venue in Nelson, New Zealand, housing a number of groups with historical themes, including transport. A short heritage railway line is operated by the Nelson Railway Society. Several shops operate in the museum, selling bakery and other artisan foods, as well as locally-made arts & crafts.

For many years Nelson hosted the famous Wearable Art Awards before the event was moved to Wellington.
It is now a world class Classic Car Museum and is a must for fans. The adjoining Cafe is on of Nelson's best.

Driving from Nelson follow State Highway 6 along the Estuary and through Richmond until you reach the roundabout to turn right onto State Highway 60, The Coastal Highway. Follow the Coastal Highway for 15 minutes and turn right at the sign for Mapua. Turn right again at the sign for Mapua and follow this road to the end to reach the Mapua Wharf.
