This sloping street is very well know. You'll find nice several bars and cafés. It's also nice having a slow walk over there.

It's worth a long walk along the Ourcq canal and a glass (of wine) in a café, in a barge or in a club. This area is really peaceful during the day and the evening. I'll go often to "Jaurès".

The street "rue de Belleville" is very long and gathers together different little shops : goods bakeries, differents butchers, goods caterers, goods wine merchants, asian products seller, etc.

The La Villette park is well know for its grass, the space, the concerts and other kinds of shows in the Zenith, the Cité de la Musique, the Cabaret Sauvage, the Theater, a geode with films, etc.

This huge and confortable swimming pool is very close to the flat.
There's also another swimming pool: the Edouard Pailleron which offers a little jacuzzi, 3 pools, a skating rink and a sports hall.

This street hides little streets named "Villa" with old workers' houses which are today beautiful and green. Have a walk over these streets and a stop at Le Danube bar-restaurant (good food & wine).

For food shopping with quite good food and a little bit expensive. You'll find a very good bakery, a cheesemonger, a butcher and a fish saller. For me, it's the French Marks & Spencer
