Stephen Avenue is more of an upscale avenue in Calgary. There are quite a few great fine dining options around, with lots of food truck options in the summer. The Core shopping mall is about a 5 minute walk away which is Calgary's most upscale mall. The palace theater is also on Stephen Avenue where you might be bale to catch a concert. Overall a great street to hit solo, or with you family & friends!

Calgary Stampede, this is a world famous festival in Calgary with mots of street food, rides, games, shows, concerts, rodeos & much more! Largest even in the city by far. Only here in July for 2 weeks though.

Great spot for for some grub & a drink. The steak frites with gravy is my favorite! This place is literally a 2 minute walk from the building.
