There are multiple el cartels, closest one would be on Thistle street but they don’t take bookings and are usually busy but okay if it’s a small group walk-in.
The other location is Teviot place, it is further into old town but well worth the trek as you can reserve a table.

I’ve heard the chicken pakora wrap here is amaze, personally haven’t tried it cause I’m Gluten intolerant. But I love the chicken wings. They’re well sized portions and this is a good spot to visit on the weekends. They have a DJ on sat after 10 and they open till 1 I believe. Worthy pit stop on a night out.

Super trendy, vegan friendly brunch place. Approx 15 min walking distance from the flat. Good place to stroll roll into for a lazy morning breakkie on a weekend.

I love a good Thai place and this is such good quality and taste fresh. The prices are super affordable so you can get lots of starters for cheap.

Spanish tapas - yes mate! This has to be one of my faves. Love their gluten free bread here it taste soo good and the creamy potatoes are comfort food heaven! 😋They do a good early deal if you arrive before 6 I think, check the top of the menu.

They bake their own sourdough which is apparently a taste of heaven so you should at least try one of their pizzas or the famous omelette. Great place for Sunday brunch.

The fajitas are well worth the buck. And they do a great lunchtime deal for two £25 with a drink🥂. Doesn’t get better 👌🏾
