Indiana University is a beautiful place for a walk especially through the old part of campus by the Jordan River and the Memorial Union. It is home to great sporting and musical events. The Sample Gates open onto Kirkwood Avenue which has lots of great restaurants and leads to the Courthouse Square! It is about a 7 mile drive from our cabin.

The quaint town of Nashville is a quick 12 mile drive East from
our cabin. It is known for its unique shops with many artisan offerings. It’s fun just to walk around and get homemade popcorn, candy or ice cream. There are several wine tasting rooms to visit too. Many of the local restaurants have live music when the weather is nice!

Hard Truth Hills Distillery is a family place to visit! Adults can set up a tour and tasting. The restaurant is large, and we love to sit out on the balcony. In nice weather, they have outdoor bands, a grill and a bar for quick eating at the picnic tables on the hill overlooking the bandstand.
