Sightseeing
This is set on a beautiful part of the river. There is an old hospital that was abandoned for many year a well as a park that use to be an Indian Burial ground on the premises. The museum costs $ but the park and view are free!

Neighborhoods
One of the oldest neighborhoods in the city! Just a few blocks north on Popular Ave is one of the oldest churches!
What used to be Memphis’s most elite neighborhood “just out of town” is now in the midst of the city. With Le Bonheur’s Children’s Hospital on one side and the Juvenile Courts on the other this neighborhood I looks very out of place! Great old house to look at or tour$. A great bar in one of those house is the Molly Fontaine House

This is a subdivision just a little north of the Exchange building. There is a great riverfront park, a dog park, a cute store called Miss Cordelia’s and a handful of other shops and eateries! At the north end of the subdivision the Mississippi meets the Wolf river!

The Broom Closet is a cool place for souvenirs of the darker variety. Stones, crystals,jewelry, and books. Also you can get your tarot read here! They have great tours including a haunted pub crawl of South Main( sometimes led by yours truly!) check out all their tours and events on their website!
