Any time of year Lake Canobolas is a great place to visit, take a picnic and enjoy the colours and beauty of the surrounds. There are some easy walking tracks around the Lake and across the Wall, play equipment, toilets, bbqs and you can swim in the warmer months at the sand beaches on either side.

87 Lake Canobolas RdAny time of year Lake Canobolas is a great place to visit, take a picnic and enjoy the colours and beauty of the surrounds. There are some easy walking tracks around the Lake and across the Wall, play equipment, toilets, bbqs and you can swim in the warmer months at the sand beaches on either side.
Take in the views of the entire region from this now extinct volcano, many bushwalking tracks and trails, some for the fit and others for anyone. The Federal Falls track is a Grade 3 and well worth the walk, take adequate water and wear appropriate footwear. Check the webpage of the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service - Mount Canobolas State Conservation Area for details of this and other great trails.

Natalee and Daniel were married here in February 2020. A truly beautiful park. Take a picnic or some hot chips and sit under the magnificent trees. Swings and hide and go seek are popular as well as feeding the friendly ducks (no bread).
