What I love about Plymouth
Exploring
You can walk around the headland from Royal William yard to a wildflower meadow up on the headland. There are a number of swimming spots, even a small tidal lido, if you don't mind cold water! Around devil's point there are lots of steps down to the water for swimming off the rocks and platforms.

You can take the Cremyl foot ferry or car ferry at Torpoint and go for a walk in the grounds of Mount Edgcumbe House, lots of camelia's and military gun emplacements around the headland as you head towards Maker Heights and Whitsand Bay, lot's to see and all recommended.
