Our guests have recommended this lovely little pub in Tavistock for great food - it is about 30 minutes by car, but on the way to or back from Plymouth if you have hit the big city!!

Local Shop information
We are situated equi-distance between; Launceston, Liskeard and Callington. All three are a 10 minute drive or under. They all have a supermarket, petrol station and local shops including take-away.
Launceston would be the first choice, it has everything, Liskeard second and Callington third, but this is the most local and great if you just need to nip to Tesco.
A small market town, has the usual pasty shop and Costa. On the outskirts there is a large Tesco, Marks & Spencer (food only) and other large shops.

Very local town, has a Tesco for all your essentials. Local shops are few in Callington, but there is a pasty, newsagents and banks.

Beaches
Bude is a seaside town on the North Coast. Iconic sandy beaches to intimate sheltered coves, Bude’s 300+ beaches are gloriously varied. Family friendly, golden, pebbly, bustling or blissfully empty, we love them all! Get out in the surf at Fistral, dip your toe in turquoise waters at Porthcurno or hunt for crabs at Treyarnon Bay.

There is a lovely beach, steep walk but there is a land rover for a small fee will take you both ways.

Padstow is a town, on the north coast keep heading West from Bude...
The town is situated on the west bank of the River Camel estuary approximately 5 miles northwest of Wadebridge, if you book bikes from Wadebridge and cycle the Camel Trail, no parking problems when you get to Padstow! Park your bikes in PAdstow and walk around the Town and head to the beautiful beach.

Padstow
Padstow is a town, on the north coast keep heading West from Bude...
The town is situated on the west bank of the River Camel estuary approximately 5 miles northwest of Wadebridge, if you book bikes from Wadebridge and cycle the Camel Trail, no parking problems when you get to Padstow! Park your bikes in PAdstow and walk around the Town and head to the beautiful beach.
