Catania is worth at least a day of your time! It must be recognized that the city of Etna has something more. First of all, the vitality and the symbiotic relationship with the volcano (Etna): two characteristics that make Catania extraordinarily similar to Naples. Then there is the pervasiveness of the Baroque that defines the entire historic city center. Not surprisingly, in 2002, the center of Catania was declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco. Again: parks, universities, food and nightlife. Everything contributes to the charm of the youngest and most dynamic city in Sicily. pescaria ( fish market), Piazza Duomo, la cattedrale di St'Agata, Giardini Bellini, street food!
