Food scene
Vinaigrette Restaurant started in Santa Fe, where I became hooked when we lived there. We were so happy they opened in ABQ (they also have a location in Austin). The salads are fantastic and great for vegans, vegetarians, and omnivores. If you are into tofu, their spicy marinated tofu is out of this world!

Pizza Delivery - Pizza's come in one size - enormous! When we lived downtown this was our family's favorite pizza delivery place. They have tons of ingredients to choose from, and their pies are absolutely delicious!

My kids love to go to the zoo. Plenty of animas, and the new penguin exhibit is out of the world. The property is large and a great way to wear out the little ones. There are many shaded spots for a picnic as well. The zoo is just a short 5 - 10 minute drive from the house.
