Get there early to walk the beautiful grounds of the hotel or sit on the rockers facing the lake. Highly recommend the burgers. Make reservations for breakfast or Sunday brunch (which is outstanding) and ask for a table on the veranda -- unbelievable view.

Wonderful sophisticated small art museum, in a gorgeous location, with a spectacular veranda and views. (We’re a little biased - our wedding reception was on the veranda!) Again, new protocols make it feel pretty safe. The space is large, with few visitors who are instructed to wear masks, keep distance, and walk in one direction.

Again, new protocols make it feel pretty safe. The space is large, with few visitors who are instructed to wear masks, keep distance, and walk in one direction.
A smaller version of Williamsburg -- immaculate and beautifully done. A must-see for kids. I got married in the wonderful old church on the property. They introduced lots of protocols to make it safe in this season. It is mostly outdoors anyway, and they have added glass barriers to the tiny houses so that you can look without entry.

It is, of course, the most famous destination and wonderful for the whole family.
