It might not seem like the obvious thing to do when it’s wet, windy or chucking it down, but the beach is nice place to visit all year around. It’s not nice to sit there when it’s wet so grab a coat and walk it’s length.
Put the heating on before you leave so it’s warm when you get back, or simply have a change of cloths ready for your return.

Woolacombe Beach

If you’re not quite confident enough to hit the open sea, the Golden Coast Holiday Park has a surf simulator where you can have a taste of why we live in this part of the world. Well worth a visit as great fun.

If your bird of watching TV in your room wonder down the road to Bay Hotel and watch a movie on the big screen!
It really is a nice cinema and they let you take beer, wine or cocktails in with your pop corn.
The cinema is very small so book a ticket online.

There are also two other cinemas in woolacombe, or you can travel to Ilfracombe or Barnstaple for a larger multi screen complex. These screens are okay by Devon Standards.

Coasteering or Kayaking is fun in the wet or dry. They provide everything you need. Just phone the to book and then turn up. You’ll have a great time.
