If you stick to this list, you will eat well like a local in interesting lively environment.
One of Sligo's finest restaurants overlooking the river. The proprietor Anthony is an ambassador for the food scene in Sligo.
The food is classic with a contemporary twist and offers everything you could possibly want. All of the local seafood is hand-selected and artistically prepared to perfection. All of the steak cuts stand tall with the superb flavour of aged beef that is cooked to your liking. Produce is organic whenever possible, sourced from local suppliers and direct form local producers.

Situated at the top of O’Connell St. Hargadons is the oldest pub in Sligo town. It offers a gastro pub style menu. Seafood, steaks and salads are the order of the day. Food is excellent for both lunch and dinner and is reasonably priced. The pub also supports the craft beer movement and has several craft beers on tap as well as a reputation for having the best Guinness in town. Hargadons is one of Sligo’s 2 Michelin listed restaurants.
