Neighbourhoods

Experience a bygone era. A time before chain stores. When water flowed in canals to the houses. When people still greeted each other in the streets. A time that was, and hopefully one day the world will return to.

Food scene

I love the name and I love the place. This cosy establishment has the best food. Fine dining with a cozy, relaxed atmosphere. You also have the option to go for their famous pizza. A great place to meet people as it is so intimate.

This is a great place to have an unconventional breakfast with the best flavours, and they have a great vegan offering. They also have the best coffee in McGregor (in my humble opinion). It is pet friendly and there is always a great village vibe here. They are only open in the mornings.

Pubs

A great place to hang out and socialise with the best bar service in town. There are a variety of simple meal options depending on the day of the week. In the winter they have outside fires to keep you toasty. On Mondays the Monster Much food truck pulls into town. You can order there and eat at Jimmy's. On Wednesday's Sy rocks his wock. You are also welcome to order a pizza at Fat Ladies Arms and eat it here. They are chilled like that.

Pottery

Millstone Pottery: Millstone Pottery is definitely a place worth visiting. There are 5 wood fired kilns, which is very rare, so it attracts all sorts of interesting potters. There is also a selection of items to purchase.
