BRINGING YOUR OWN BOAT

This is for guests who are bringing their own boat
If you are bringing your boat: the best place for launching and parking is at Shep Browns Marina. They allow you to launch your boat there and park on site. There are multiple other public launches around the lake as well. But we have found this to be the most effective and closest to the Cottage If you are trying to park at our boat launch at 31 Dock rd you are not allowed to park your trailer. Only passenger cars are allowed with a parking pass at the 31 Dock rd Location. If you do choose to launch your boat at this location and park your car and trailer. You will receive a parking ticket. if launching before 5pm you may not be able to launch as there is an on property parking and launching attendant. If you do decide to park here and risk a ticket please let us know. Once you decide where to launch and park. Load your boat with your belongings and all food items. Once loaded. Pull up your GPS on your phone and type in "Little Camp Island Gilford New Hampshire" Your GPS can be followed. Please keep in mind this will not bring you directly to the Cottage. It will bring you to the Island. But the Cottage is right on the water and easy to locate. Once arriving at the Island and approaching the dock. If you have one boat, best docking is on the right side of the dock. Both side are great but the right is just a little better and easier due to wave activity. Once unloaded: The Cabin will be unlocked ready and waiting for you. There are sticky notes around the Cabin for notes tips and tricks to notify you of the intricate details of the operations. Welcome to Little Camp Island! Fun Fact: The Island has been in the family for well over 100 years. 2021 was the first time the family decided to share the special place with others. We hope you enjoy

Was einpacken?

PACK DRINKING WATER

Please pack your own drinks and drinking water. The running water at the camp is lake drawn and is not suggested for consumption (despite the water being extremely clean). Brining bottled water/ other beverages is a good idea. We provide a gallon of spring water for your cooking and drinking however, you will most likely need more!

SLEEP WITH A FAN?

Please do not bring box fans with you. There is limited electricity and the box fans do not function properly. Our suggestions for fans are battery-powered fans that you can bring with you!
