This has great snorkeling and isn't organized as far as making reservation. Park at the parking lot across from Woodland at Pupukea on the north shore. The trail is rocky to enter the water. Don't go when waves are big in the winter time.

This is walking distance from the studio. There are great 360 degree views of the ocean since it is situated above Lanikai, and mountains.

This hike is just on the other side of the tunnel up the Pali Hwy, approx . 20 min drive from the studio. You can park on the road but be sure to take your possessions with you due to break ins. It is a loop trail with swimming hole access. Super fun !

Remove shoes before entering someone's home, clothing
Take off shoes when entering a home; this is a local custom.
For packing advice : during the summer months it is not necessary to bring many clothing "layers" since the temperatures are relatively warm in the evenings and get pretty hot during the afternoons when not right on the ocean.

Bring comfortable slip-on shoes, lightweight clothes
During the winter months I wear a long sleeved shirt or light weight sweat shirt at night. The attire is casual and beach oriented. Many people wear sandals called "slippers" which are flip flops and are appropriate to wear in any social scene.
