This place used to be The Spot Supper Club, back in the day and is now a sort of sports bar with an outdoor tiki bar and boat docks on the shore of Pokegama Lake. Gilligan's has good food (Try the prime rib on Saturdays), fun clientele, trivia, cornhole tournaments, and live music from time to time.

Sightseeing
Located on the Chippewa Moraine segment of the Ice Age Trail, the Obey Center contains a good little museum showcasing the geology of glaciationas well as local flora and fauna. Long and short, looped hiking trails through the moraine area open onto the parking lot there. The museum and trails are always popular, but especially so during peak fall colors, which is usually the first week in October in New Auburn. it's roughly a half-hour drive south of our cottage.
