There are two well known beaches in P-town. Herring cove is one the I enjoy watching the sunset. If you have a car and pull into the main gate, take a right and find a parking space. You know have a front row view of the sunset. Enjoy.

This is my personal favorite beach. The sand dunes are behind you and the open sea in front of you. They say if you sailed straight out you would reach Portugal ! There is a changing facility and public bathrooms. Pack enough food you'll want to stay all day.

Food Scene
This is one of my favorite restaurants and is the closest walking distance. The menu is well thought out and the drinks can't be beat. They also have a outdoor dining area.

This restaurant has it all. It has a very large outdoor space. It definitely is the place to people watch while you eat. ( to see and be seen ). The food is as good as the view. Located right on the main drag Commercial St. The drinks are good too !
