A few blocks north, Upper Left has a minimalist hipster aesthetic, with tasty coffee and breakfast bites ( I highly recommend the avocado toast). The vibe comes with a price though- for example, the milk substitute costs $1.50 extra.

The only reason why this is on the list is so that I can tell you to SKIP it. It’s overrated and the wait is usually atrocious- trust me on this one- there are better brunches in Portland.
