Beyond the 3 Cities - ‘Kalkara’ is also worth a visit. Is is a quiet town full of local charm and home to Malta’s only interactive science centre, ‘Esplora’ which makes for a great family outing, as well as breath-taking views.

Food scene

There will be a dynamic show (where the lights and fountains are choreographed with music) every 30 minutes from 12:00 noon to 22:30 at night. In between the shows, which last around 5-10 minutes, the fountain will remain lit up, will still go through different moves and there will still be music in the background, but the display wont fit the beat and it'll be much calmer and more basic. Around are some bars and restaurants.
