Hike – overlook mountain – takes about 3 hours in total – easy in terms of terrain but it will certainly get your heart rate up – it is steep!!!

The brand New Ashokan Rail Trail with the entrance right on Boiceville 2 minutes away – it is stunning! 11 miles, flat surface for walking, doggies (on a leash of course) , bike riding….. also great is to do a walk around the Ashokan reservoir (4 minute drive) – you can park and do as much as 5.5 miles or any part less than that – it is flat and paved road with no cars - it is also truly magnificent views and also nice to see where manhattan’s drinking water comes from!

Kenneth Wilson state campground – 8 mins from the house – great to walk through the woods on some of the new trails and also around the loops of the campground. Its super pretty.
