Approximately 45 minute drive east of your stay. Beautiful drive through the park. And if you are ambitious and in shape, take a hike to the top of Mt. Lassen. Please prepare for the hike and do your homework prior to the hike. It is just as nice to drive the park and stop at various points of interest.

Approximately 45 minute drive east of your stay. Beautiful drive through the park. And if you are ambitious and in shape, take a hike to the top of Mt. Lassen. Please prepare for the hike and do your homework prior to the hike. It is just as nice to drive the park and stop at various points of interest.

California 89 Scenic, Shingletown, CA 96088. Closed during winter. Check with park for opening dates.
Nice lake about 20 minutes west of your stay. Take Hwy 44 West through Redding and change to Hwy 299 East toward Eureka. Lake will be about 10 minutes out of town (Redding).
