Skyline Bus Info

Frequent shuttles between the different areas of Big Sky, also bus to and from Bozeman. Runs up to 10pm, highly recommended if you want to skip the drive down the mountain and catch some cocktails apres ski! Use Yellow Line from Canyon to Mountain if you're staying in the canyon, recommend Whitewater Inn stop or Bighorn Center to park and ride. https://skylinebus.com/routes-schedules/winter-schedule/

Big Sky Resort Parking and Storage

The resort has free parking and constant open-air shuttles to take you from the parking lot to the resort. You can also rent ski storage at the base of the mountain if you don't want to take skis and poles back and forth. There is also locker storage, inquire with resort for details.

Dressing for the Slopes

Big Sky mountain can get cold and windy at times. Always have face protection, warm wind/waterproof gloves, hand and toe warmers and extra layers available. Another trick I've found helps if prone to cold feet - boot gloves! They really do help keep the wind off.

Pack your own lunch and snacks

Big Sky Resort has an excellent cafeteria and other restaurants. However, it is a little pricey, especially when traveling with kids. If you're looking to save, act like a local and make your own sandwiches or pack snacks and bring along in a backpack.
