Mala Osojnica is a 691 m high peak that rises above Lake Bled near Velika Zaka. It is considered to be the most popular spot for photographers, as the increasingly famous panoramas of Bled were taken from here. From Male Osojnica, you can therefore enjoy the most beautiful views of Lake Bled, mountains 🏔️ Karavanke, the Kamniška Alps and the beautiful area called Gorenjska Ravan.

Its so nice walking route in any season. Just be sure that if you go in winter time make sure you have the right gear/wardrobe/shoes. The food is amazing, traditional! The hike is for everyone because its not difficult!

Hey, if you are interested in some traditional carnivals, you should come to Slovenia at the end of the February (dates of the festival vary by date each year so be careful take a look) but it is definitely worth every minute and euro. Kurentovanje is Slovenia's most popular and ethnologically significant carnival event first organised in 1960 by Drago Hasl. This 11-day rite of spring and fertility highlight event is celebrated on Shrove Sunday in Ptuj and also in KRANJ which is near Bled. See also; Carnival in Cerknica region!
