At 40 kilometers from Tetouan, you will find "Oued Laou" and its beautiful beach. With its fine sand and clear waters, this beach surrounded by mountains (perfect for hiking), is an exceptional destination where it is good to enjoy the sea and surrounding landscapes.
With its restaurants and cafes by the sea, this beach is one of the cleanest and most beautiful seaside resorts of Morroco. Means of transport are available at any time of the day and even at night and prices for buses and taxis are not high. Restaurants and sandwich snacks are everywhere in the city and open very late at night.

This musuem is close to Bab Okla, one of the most famous 7 doors of the Medina, it had a great view from the terrace, a pleasant garden with old cannons, and the display of silk wedding gowns.Worth visiting.Entry is 1 Euro.Close on Weekend.

This museum had an excellent collection of artfacts from the Roman ruins at Lixus and Tamouda, displayed both inside and in the garden.It's only one block from our house.

It's also called "Bertutshi school";this's the best and most famous artisan center in northern Morroco, it's an opportunity to see teachers teaching apprentices the traditional art : ornamental woodwork,silk costumes,carved plaster,mosaics etc...the builidng itself had a beautiful decoration, and also an amazing garden thanks to the Spanish artist who had love for Tetouan "Bertutchi".
