Best "street tacos" ever. They are large so one usually does the trick. The chili rellenos are great. It is a drive through or sit down spot and the prices are so low.

This a a fun way to see the entire area and experience the different terrain and elevation changes here in the desert. You could be golfing in shorts one minute and in snow at the top of the tram.

This is our neighborhood course. As a renter you can qualify for discount green fees. There is a challenging 18 hole course as well as a beautiful par three course.

Great and moderate hike to an amazingly tall waterfall. If it is hot out, wear your swimsuit and dip into the many natural pools along the way. There is a free guided hike that is informative and fun.

This is the biggest outdoor market and such an assortment of items. From fresh dates to golf clothes to hats and tamales. It's all there. It's only open Saturdays and Sundays in the mornings until about 1 pm. It is closed during the hot summer months.

This is a rather odd art installation but quite whacky and fun to see. It will take about an hour to drive there but on the way you will see the Salton Sea and can stop off at the shoreline or drive through the very old and deserted resort towns.

There is a lot of history in town and so much culture to enjoy. If you like mid-century modern décor or architecture, you have a great time. There seems to always be a street fair, art show or event going on. Go see the two story tall Marilyn Monroe statue or visit Elvis Presley's honeymoon house. During February is Modernism Week with home tours, talks, fashion shows etc. There are so many great places to eat and see. Take at least one day and have fun in Palm Springs
