One of my preferred beaches for that private time where you just want to relax, kick back on the sand and bask in the sun. Also highly recommended for surfers and snorkelers seeking the thrill of the depths of Hull Bay. It is a fisherman's dream many of the fisherman pull their vessels into the loading dock. You may even be lucky enough to catch the fresh catch of the day if your there at the right time. Also available are the dining facilities in the bay. Great and wonderful experience and people.

My history teachers will tell you I definitely was not the brightest in the classroom. Yet take me to the plantations and I will break it down for you. Annaberg School Ruins, upon arriving you get the feeling of history, the essence of creativity and beautiful culture. Walk ready to enjoy the sight. Please do not remove stones from the structures and please respect the surroundings. Annaberg is certainly one of my favorites because the history of this place is greatly tied to alot of members of my community that I have had the pleasure of growing up with. Seeing the artificats that their ancestors left behind means a lot to me. Aside from this, the wonderful views of the British Virgin Islands and the cliff edge overlooking what is called Drakes Passage, another incredible Virgin Islands memorabilia. Drake was a bad boy Pirate.

To the west side of the beach the surface of the coral reef has been greatly affected by the tourism industry with all the sediments of sun tanning lotions resting on top of the coral on low tides. Yet there is some hope. To the front side of the reef going out beyond the shoreline there is a drop starting around 15 feet with greater depths that follow. In the midst of those depths, you will find colonies of surviving and thriving corals among the various species of fishes. To the east side of the beach, there is a seaweed bed that is visited daily by the beautiful sea turtles. Lindquist beach is a pearl to me. Also provides a long shoreline for romantic walks, and exercises as well. MUST VISIT!!!

It provides me with my morning exercise routines, a few miles walk/run, and a few miles swimming laps in the bay. Many of our visitors utilize the beach for its lengthy walks, beautiful sandy shores, and sandy shoreline. In addition to the swimming, the beach is encompassed by a variety of historical trails and a hike that takes you 45 minutes back up the side of the mountain. Wonderful beach to experience while visiting.

Talk about the best of both worlds. Cinnamon Bay lengthy shoreline provides wonderful family walks, romantic sunsets, and even for the underwater afficionado like me, amazing snorkeling experiences. Cinnamon Bay is A MUST!!! Hands down.

Trunk Bay
I'm not even going to kid around with this one!!! Stay off the coral reefs and the island, please protect our beautiful pristine beaches and the underwater wildlife. One of our most wonderful gems. Covered in beautiful white sandy shores, and amazing under water life. If you enjoy going shallow or deep, this is one wonderful and safe snorkeling experience. St. John's prize possession or wonderful Trunk Bay.
If you are going to visit the Salt Pond Beach on St. John, adjacent to it is the Salt Pond. Please if you are going to visit the Salt Pond and there is salt in the pond. Please do not take the salt and throw it away. Please, please, please. It is the limiest salt you can taste, and I absolutely love it. Prior to Hurricane Irma and Maria I was able to harvest three 5 gallon bucket loads of salt from the salt pond and Mehn did my food taste better hehehehe. Aside from this, the Salt Pond Beach is wonderful and worthy of a visit. The trail to the Salt pond is only but few minutes hike and the Salt Pond Beach is actually the entrance for the Ram Head Trail. If you are going to visit the Salt Pond Beach on St. John, adjacent to it is the Salt Pond. Please if you are going to visit the Salt Pond and there is salt in the pond. Please do not take the salt and throw it away. Please, please, please. It is the limiest salt you can taste, and I absolutely love it. Prior to Hurricane Irma and Maria I was able to harvest three 5 gallon bucket loads of salt from the salt pond and Mehn did my food taste better hehehehe. Aside from this, the Salt Pond Beach is wonderful and worthy of a visit. If you are a big adventurer like me, I highly recommend the Ram Head Trail in St. John. Simply wonderful. Roughly a 3-hour hike roundtrip. You will not be disappointed. Takes you to the depth of the southern shore of St. John more central than eastern. When you get to Ram's Head, you will just want to sit and let the breeze from the southern shore blow through you. At the point of Ram Head, please be careful not to get too close to the edge and make sure you operate under the buddy system. It is a very rocky hike and arriving at the edge itself can be very tempting to take selfies right on the edge.

This is the New Horizons Catamaran Day Charter. 5 hours on sea is an experience that will either have you drinking ginger ale and rum or just rum punch and good laughs. The Catamaran tour is certainly my favorite. The staff was very pleasing and always willing to give offer insight into the entire experience, for example, where the best snorkeling was, the best risk, turtles, rays, and even the occasional shark experience which honestly i thrived for. Aside from that, teams manage the number of members on the vessel, so it is never crowded and more than enough room to lounge around and chill while enjoying the company of others. GREAT, GREAT, GREAT TIME!!!
