Great uncrowded beach with crystal clear water. Good swimming and surfing with a surf school. Get a massage, rent a umbrella and just relax. They do have food and drink.

Rental cars
I always rent from Alamo in either Santo Domingo or Punta Cana. They have always been friendly and fair with good service. They have nice vehicles with low deposit. The drive from Punta Cana Airport is about 20 min. Alamo has very convenient location steps from the terminal. Santo Domingo Airport is about 2 hr 20 min. Make sure you drive the speed limit from SDQ. Cellular good everywhere with maps.
