The purpose of the construction of the Vajdahunyad Castle in the city park was to present the 1000 years of Hungarian architectural history. It hosts various events on a regular basis, but is also worth a visit during quieter periods. If for no other reason, it is because of the Hungarian Agricultural Museum opening from its yard.
