Brixham is a lovely nearby fishing village with a cute little high street. Beware of the gulls whilst eating your fish and chips. Brixham is a challenging 2 hour walk via the Coastal Path. Easy bus back.

Absolutely delightful and charming . A lovely day out.
Lovely, free to enter gardens, with some interesting craft shops. Great for a pretty walk for a couple of hours . A favourite of ours !. Plus it’s wheelchair friendly.

For an extra special evening we highly recommend this place on delightful Paignton harbour. Heather and her team really care about their food and customers and the menu caters for all dietary requirements. Definitely book in advance and ask for a table on the terrace if the weather looks good .

It’s difficult to get a table here as they only have 5 !! Phone for a a take away instead.
This is the best Thai in the area and it’s a local secret as it’s hidden up a side street away from the tourist areas .
They use fresh ingredients and not the stuff delivered in freezer lorries !
Recommended dish is Beef Masamaan curry.

This establishment sits on the tourist street known locally as the manic mile which has now been pedestrianised. Visiting Scoffs is not for the faint hearted. It’s best to wait quietly in line , keep your self to your self., collect your food and leave . The only time they’ve ever smiled was when this photo was taken !
