The Dutch Eating place sells a chicken pot pie that will knock your socks off, Beilers bakery sells homemade PA Dutch classics, pillow soft dinner rolls and woopie pies. Hershel’s East Side Deli makes their own pastrami corned beef, yum! Termini Italian bakery is one of Philly's finest. 15 minutes by bus

It gives quite a sense of what the city was like a few hundred years ago and if you head towards market street, you'll get a glimpse of Ban franklin's latrine

Yup, THAT bell. This area is easily accessible using the #57 bus, it stops at 4th and George, one block down and returns on 3rd street. 5-minute bus ride.
