Fabulous house and gardens. Breathtaking landscape, amazing view of the Garda Lake. The Building itself is so majestic and unique. So rich of Italian history and one of a kind, great testimony of the life of Gabriele D'Annunzio, his heritage permeates this place in every corner. Added value are the mausoleum, museums, the Ship Puglia but also the lovely village and church. A full day trip, very highly recommended.

The centre of Desenzano is marked by Piazza Malvezzi; this is one of the most attractive squares in the whole lake area with its historic buildings and bustling atmosphere. This is a great place to just sit and watch the world go by as you gaze out onto the lake.
