The White Horse beach bar and eatery is only 200 metres away from Millennium Court and right next to the beach slipway, which is an area known as the Dicq, It has separate drinking and dining areas, there also alfresco spaces with spectacular views over the bay. The varied menu offers a wide range of tempting dishes that are prepared in the open plan kitchen, all food will be available to eat either in the relaxed indoor eating space or on the alfresco terrace.

Sightseeing

Howard Davis Park has beautiful flower gardens and a lawn area for picnics, there’s also a bandstand where various bands play during the summer months. For the little ones there’s a playground suited for small children. Howard David Park also features the Jersey War Graves Cemetery, a walled rose garden and a pond. Plus there is a cafe and toilet facilities – including disabled and baby-changing facilities. The park is a 10 minute walk away from Millennium Court.

The Botanic Gardens at Samarès Manor is a 5 minute drive away from Millennium Court and about 25 minutes by foot.

Golf course and Tennis Courts

St Clements Golf and Sports Centre is the most southernly Golf course in the British Isles and home to a fine course that will challenge players of all levels of ability, skills, ages and handicaps. It boasts a testing 9 hole parkland golf course measuring 2637 yards (par 33), a 3 hole Academy Golf course suitable for all ages and abilities, and practice area including sand bunkers and putting green. Tennis. The once grass surface tennis courts, have been replaced by tarmacadam, allowing all year-round access and two floodlit tennis courts enable continuing play during the darker evenings. The centre is also home to the only ‘Padel Tennis’ courts in Jersey. This new sport, popular in Europe, and originating in South America, is a combination of tennis and squash and is played out door, in an enclosed glass walled court. This court being half the size of a tennis court, however the same the rules of tennis are applied, except that the starting serve must be under arm! This is a must try game. There’s also a cafe/bar area and toilet facilities plus a large car park. St Clements Golf & Sports Centre is only a 10 minute walk away from Millennium Court.
