Free zoo - and a good one! They request a donation to park, but lots to see here. Have snack bars, a carousel with all wild animals, a snack bar and nice gift shop. Also have an amazing large playground for kids of all ages. We always make a day to take visitors here.

Great Amusement rides and water parks! We plan a day of all day rides (try to look for the coolest day of the week when grandkids are down). This way you can get a whole day pass and really get your money's worth. Same with water parks - go for the day! You can bring food or purchase at the snack bar or even one of the bars (Pig Dog is pretty good!). Come early to claim a good seat. We always sit by the kids section, where you can watch the ocean waves while cooling off in the splash pools!

A trip to Cape May County is not complete without a stroll along the Washington Street Mall in Cape May. Lots of shops with unique wares, fun eating establishments, Buggy rides, trolley tours and more!

A great place to take a picnic, tour the light house (have to walk up many, many steps, but the view up there is worth it!). The beach is one of my favorites! It's not a "swimming" beach. You are only permitted in up to your knees. But it's beautiful, and you often can see a great natural Dolphin "show". They swim close to shore and jump in and out of the water like in Sea World! You can see the ferry from here too. A great place to bring a book, sit close to the water, and enjoy the quiet relaxation. It's not usually very crowded! There's also a great nature walk on a boarded walkway.

This is definitely our very favorite restaurant in Wildwood. Sit by the water, watching the boats coming and going, and eating fabulous food! Great service too! A little more pricey, but worth it - hey you're on vacation!

Irene's is open year round and has special "Nights" with games like darts and trivia. This is one of our favorite off season places to go (we're locals, so we stay away from the crowds - but good in season too!)

Morey's piers has a great sale starting usually mid November - keep an eye out as it changes year to year. I purchase our tickets for the summer then! It used to be 40% off but last year it dropped to 25% off. But, may change. Just a good time to think ahead for the summer!
