Along with Whitby, Kew and Sandy Point, Bottle Creek Village is one of the four small settlements found on North Caicos. Located on the southeast side of the island overlooking the scenic Bottle Creek Lagoon, the village is the largest settlement on the North Caicos and has most of the larger shops and government offices on the island. Bottle Creek and the nearby Major Hill area once supported quite a few of the Loyalist-era plantations and historical sites. Today, the empty ruins of houses, field walls, and wells still stand from those long-past days. The primary draw to Bottle Creek is the incredible view from the village over the adjacent lagoon and East Bay Islands National Park.

Mudjin Harbor is a three mile long section of beach and coastline on the north of Middle Caicos. It's considered by many to be the finest landscape in the Turks and Caicos. The main access to Mudjin Harbor Beach is located inside the Blue Horizon Resort. A small car park is located here, and a 500 foot (150m) concrete walking path leads down to the beach. Several of the defining features of Mudjin Harbor are found in this vicinity: a large open-faced cave above the beach, an overlook at the top of the cliff, and the rocky Dragon Cay. Most visitors tend to spend several hours here, as there’s so much to see and explore.

Found off of King’s Road between Whitby and Horsestable Beach, this easy stop offers an excellent view south over the Flamingo Pond wetland on North Caicos. As the location’s name suggests, this area is typically inhabited by the West Indian Flamingo, and the flocks here are at times in the thousands. The main overlook area is about 300 feet from the pond, and the flamingos may be even farther out, so binoculars or a spotting scope will be necessary to get a really good view of the birds. This site is absolutely worth a quick stop on the chance that large numbers of flamingos are present, it however isn’t really a great spot for serious bird photography due to the difficulty in approaching.

Found close off of Sandy Point Road in North Caicos, Cottage Pond is a 150 foot (45m) diameter and 250 foot (76m) deep naturally-formed submerged sinkhole. The feature is technically referred to as a blue hole, and the geological action that created it is called the Karst process. Sea level greatly effects blue hole formation. For most visitors, Cottage Pond really doesn’t offer much other than the sights of a small scenic pond. However, the site is the perfect opportunity to see a tropical blue hole. It offers quite a few interesting features for nature enthusiasts and birdwatchers, and definitely warrants at least quick stop.

Found off the south coast of Middle Caicos in the shallow Caicos Banks, The Ocean Hole is a 250 feet (76 m) deep geological feature that can clearly be seen by air when flying by Middle Caicos. At nearly 2000 feet (.6 km) in diameter, the Ocean Hole is by far the largest of the blue hole features in the Turks and Caicos. Due to the hole's location, access is difficult. The entire south side of Middle Caicos is mangroves and wetlands with no roads breaking through to the south coast. Ocean depth in the vicinity of the Ocean Hole is also quite shallow. Access is only feasible as a long ride on a small boat that draws very little water.

Three Marys Cays are three limestone ironshore rocks found close off the north coast of North Caicos. The general area is quite scenic, making it a popular spot to visit for day trips, picnics, and beachcombing. Water conditions are typically mild and perfect for swimming. Follow the road out of Sandy Point Marina for two-thirds of a mile (1km) and then turn left onto the unpaved road. This road doesn't have a name or sign at this time, yet is newly resurfaced. You’re on the right road if you can drive more than a thousand feet (300m). Continue for 1.85 miles (3km), and you should see the small sign for Three Marys Cays on your left.

Conch Bar Caves on Middle Caicos is the largest non-submerged cave system in the Bahamas-Turks and Caicos island chain and is a Turks and Caicos national park. Conch Bar Caves does not have the developed paths, stairs and lighting that other tourist attraction caves have, so the visiting experience tends to be a bit more of an adventure. Handheld flashlights provide lighting, and tour guides usually have extras to loan to visitors. The cave system is all generally on one level, but some areas can be slippery and rough, so an in-depth tour might not be for everyone. It’s advisable to wear shoes or boots. The usual entrance and guided tour fee is $10 to $15.
