Guest recommended: When visiting Niagara falls we went to the Fallsview Casino resort to park the car. Get a free players card in the casino and you get a discount at the buffet. You need a card per person. Then play a bit on the slot machines and you can get your parking for free! The buffet was really good by the way:-)

Walking distance and you can get a lot of food for a low price. We do takeout as the atmosphere is definitely cheap restaurant chic, but the food is good and the price is right. And you can walk there as it's across the street next to Food Basics.

Part of the river trail system. There are miles and miles of trails accessible from this neighborhood. The trails range from packed well maintained gravel to windy muddy singletrack.

The gateway to Lake Erie. Typical beach town, relatively inexpensive rentals for almost everything. It's cheaper to park at a kayak rental and rent a kayak than to pay for the municipal parking.

Nearest access to Lake Huron. Small park with lots of trails. Great beach. Wonderful place in winter if you're into awesome ice sculptures made by Lake Huron winds and waves.

Getting Around
The Kitchener airport. Nice small regional airport, much nicer to fly to and from than Toronto. 15 minute taxi ride from the airport to the house. Rental cars available by reservation only.

Bus stop for Route 204 is within 2 minutes of the apartment. The route goes to the main GRT terminal. From there you can catch buses to anywhere in the City.
