Southern-style restaurant. Their food is good and they are in a really cool huge old factory building right on the creek. They serve lunch and dinner and buffet brunch on Sundays. I like to go for a late lunch on a sunny day, sit on the deck and have a few drinks with friends and sample some of their yummy appetisers.

Great mexican restaurant with yummy tacos and excellent Margaritas, right near the water on Broadway. I like to go to their taco tuesdays, with $2 tacos, you can have a dinner for 2 with drinks for $20!

Great American-Mexican food, excellent margaritas, and always a lively atmosphere. This is where the locals go for a cocktail, so the bar is always packed! Very dog-friendly in spring, summer and fall when their patio is open. The owner LOVES dogs and will bring over a bowl of water and (if it's not too busy) some unseasoned grilled chicken for your pooch.

Sushi and Hibachi place, they do take-out and delivery, and have those big hibachi tables where the chef does tricks while they cook your food. Pretty standard for sushi; not the best I've ever had, but always tasty and fresh.

They have great coffee, really great food, vegan options for breakfast and lunch, and a relaxed and casual atmosphere packed with walls full of antiques. You will find yourself wandering away from your table to look at some interesting thing, it’s hard to leave!

Hasbrouck is not the best-maintained park in kingston, but it's got an amazing view of the Hudson and it's big, open, grassy hills are by far the best spot to go sledding when there's snow.

Every Saturday, April-October. There are so many local farms, we have a great variety of local produce, meats, fresh fish, food vendors, wine and spirits, and other specialty foods. There is usually a bluegrass band playing as well.
