Here you can take a hanging cable car to the top of Mt. Ulrikken for a beautiful view of the valley. On nice days, there are always parasailers jumping from this location.

Our house is on Mt. Løvstakken and the walking trail is directly behind us. This is a beautiful walk if you're interested in some nearby nature.

The old stave church was built in 1150, but was burned down by arson in 1992. The church has been re-built and you can see this replication of it as it was before the fire.

We think this is the finest example of the Norwegian stave churches. The church was built sometime between 1180 and 1250 AD, and it's a very interesting and beautiful place to visit.
