Because it's just another great park! :) We are closer to 3 other parks, Westenfield, West Austin. But Pease is walkable and awesome, with a lovely trail ... .

5 minute walk from our house and you pick up the Johnson trail, wind through a beautiful iconic Austin walk, end at lake, where you can pick up the Lady Bird Hike and Bike Trail ... which follows Lady Bird lake ... formerly called Town Lake and Town Lake Hike and Bike trail ... this trail is incredibly beatiful next to water, fully shaded ... you will see everyone from moms and dads with strollers on up the life chain.

Including playing with our really awesome & well behaved 8 & 10 year old daughters (see reviews!) who are super athletic and the youngest is pure tomboy, so lots of potential for play, in our giant back yard, BB hoop around, or parks!

There are so many great parks and lakes near us, that only go to the Thinkery if you really want this as an option -- because otherwise there's just way too much great stuff within walking distance of our house for your kids! Including playing with our really awesome & well behaved 8 & 10 year old daughters (see reviews!) who are super athletic and the youngest is pure tomboy, so lots of potential for play, in our giant back yard, BB hoop around, or parks!
